Theodore D. Kontorigas, founder and design director of TKLD, is a visionary in the field of lighting design. Holding a Master of Science in Light & Lighting from UCL's Bartlett School of Architecture in London, Theodore combines technical expertise with creative innovation. His career began in the UK, where he honed his skills before establishing TKLD in Athens in 2001. Known for his passion for transformative lighting solutions, Theodore approaches each project with a commitment to enhancing spaces through dynamic and impactful design. Beyond his studio work, he actively shares his insights at universities, industry trade fairs, and professional conferences, fostering a deeper understanding of the art and science of lighting.
